PERSONALITY

A ball of sunshine, Ayano is known for her upbeat and friendly demeanor. She is good at getting to know others and is often seen meeting new people and making friends. With a infectious enthusiasm for life, she tends to bring the happiness up the room a couple of stages if she can help it. Where there are groups of people, Ayano is quick to follow. It is rare you can truly escape the sunny-spotted child.

Ayano never gives up. Or well, it's more like once her mind is set to something, it's impossible for her to give up on it. Whether that'd be to be your friend or to complete her dream of becoming a hero, Ayano tends to try and barrel ahead to complete whatever it is that she wants to do. Because of this however, she has been known to be reckless in the middle of danger; often rushing in without truly thinking about it.

If you're in trouble, Ayano physically can't leave you alone. She wants to help people; for better or for worse. Often times, she tends to stick her nose in places where it doesn't belong; digging into other people's businesses without much regard if they want her help or not. Whether the issues are physical or emotional, Ayano wants to be there to lend a helping hand in anyway she can.

Even if you have known her for all of 10 seconds, to Ayano, you are someone irreplaceable to her. She tends to trust people off of very little, often putting literal strangers and best friends in a similar ball park in terms of how likely she'd take a bullet for them. She'd much rather herself get hurt then see other people get hurt. This level of empathy causing her to very often to actually get herself in serious trouble.

Hugs? Constant hugs. There is no such thing as too touchy in Ayano's eyes- coupled with her lack of personal space, she's known for being extremely touchy with anyone she meets regardless of any factors about this person. Yes, this has gotten her into trouble before. No, she hasn't stopped being overly affectionate to people just because of it.

On the other hand, Ayano hates being alone or being ignored. Both have a similar effect to the young ball of sunshine and she will do anything possible to avoid it. As much as she gives out physical touch, she loves to also receive hugs and head pats. She wants people to notice her and give her attention for her actions. Even if it's something small, Ayano will appreciate every bit of attention given to her.

With long green hair tied up into twin tails and round blue eyes, Ayano looks like an almost like a small copy of her mother...though missing a very important feature. Growing to be almost as tall as Hibiki, she threatens to take over her older sister's height every single day. Ayano is rarely seen without some sort of smile on her face, her innate optimism becoming completely infectious. Ayano likes oversized, baggy clothes. Whether it'd be because it helps with avoiding issues with her quirk, or merely because she enjoys the style, it's rare she's seen in anything that fits properly.

HISTORY

Ever since Ayano was born, she had been in and out of the hospital. Shattering her own bones, shattering other people; born from the owners of a small time hero support company, they were quick to rig device to keep their daughter safe at even a young age. Because of this, her earliest days was usually spent inside, not quite sure how to deal with her quirk.

Her only companion was her begrudging older sister, who'd give in to her fragile sister's need for constant attention. During this time, she picked up her family's love of engineering and tinkering, though taking more of a knack towards chemistry than anything.

Taking completely after the more outgoing of her mothers, she quickly found herself bugging them both to let her go to public school whenever she had the next chance. After keeping her homeschooled for kindergarten, her parents were forced to give in to her demands and sent her to public school.

It was here that she both made many lifelong friends, but also the dangers her quirk posed for herself and others. Realizing this dangers, her teachers put Ayano in a quirk therapy session that focused on controlling and suppressing the effects of her quirk. Because of this, she eventually gained enough control that her family was no longer concerned with having to send her to Junior High School as the years went on.

However, one faithful day, Ayano saw someone getting attacked by a villain without so much as a hero in sight. Not one to sit still when in trouble, she rushed in; shattering much of the surroundings around her and herself as well as the villain themselves. She got heavily scolded that day, but since then she had always dreamed of one day becoming a hero.

Glass house is a quirk that allows the user to shatter objects and opponents as long as the same damage effects herself. Born with incredibly shatter-able bones, for as long as Ayano can remember, she had been able to shatter the objects around her where she shattered her own bones. Over a lot of quirk therapy sessions at school, she had eventually learned how to regulate her quirk in a semi-controlled manner.

She is capable of controlling her quirk and damage at a gold-tier level, beyond that however, she may end up shattering herself completely and destroying herself in the process.

QUIRK DRAWBACKS
Ayano can only shatter things as much as she can shatter herself. If she was holding a glass ball in her hands, she can shatter the glass ball, but it will also shatter her hands. If she wants to shatter a wall, it can only be the same size as her and in that situation, she would have her bones completely shattered as well.

Her quirk works on an "equivalent exchange" mentality; being the impact on others must equal her own damage to herself. The quirk can be dampened by hardening/defensive quirks. She also can't shatter elemental quirks.

Ayano can also not turn this off. If she accidentally shatters a bone due to her brittle bones, it will shatter whatever caused her to break the bone on impact. Because of this, it is absolutely suggested that she doesn't get herself into any situations where she might cause a bone to break.
